Get involved
Although our petition on the 10 Downing Street website has now closed, over 8,000 felt strongly enough to sign it. The longer-term campaign continues, and you can help.

Support Humber Action Against Tolls (HAAT). HAAT comprises representatives of a number of different organisations, groups and individuals working together as one. This includes local councillors, MEPs and MPs, They need people to get involved in publicity, demonstrations and fundraising. If you can help, get in touch via this website's email or call 01652 688703.

If you are a member of, or have links with, a local organisation, such as a parish council, you could ask them to publicise the campaign through their newsletter or website.

If you work for an organisation with a staff newsletter or intranet, ask if you can use them to publicise the campaign.

Write to your MP and MEP. Some of the local ones, especially from south of the Humber, have spoken out against the tolls and the debt. Their contact details are on our links page. If enough people express their concern, they may be prompted to act.

Write to the local newspapers, mentioning the petition if appropriate. You’ll find some of the points you can use on the arguments page.
